PSA: Florida Co-Op School Informational Meeting

Florida's Jewish Cooperative School is having an informational meeting. I don't know how many Florida readers I have, but I receive regular updates in my email regarding this venture and parents interested in an educational alternative might find the format and pricing of interest.

  2. I heard there is a group in a neighboring town that is working on something similar. It would be interesting to see how it develops.

  3. why can't anyone do this in Bergen county? why did the initiative fail 2 years ago? I think there is interest in BC. anyone have any insights?

  5. Definitely the Florida GOP's dream... if it is going to happen, this is the year to do it, Florida will NEVER have this right wing a government again... Republicans hold every statewide office, huge majorities in the legislature, and after Bush and Crist, actually has a Republican majority (Bush didn't appoint anyone, Crist did)... so it's a moderate Center-right court...

    That said, when vouchers have come up in polls and votes in Florida, they fail miserably, so it might be a suicide run to put it in place...

  6. If a program like this one was started in Bergen County, do you think people (in the 200k-250k) range would consider sending their kids?
