Public Service Annoucement: Linked In Workshop

Last minute, I realize. This Sunday, February 20, at YIWH (West Hempstead) the Sisterhood presents a Linked In Workshop with Chaim Shapiro. Sounds interesting. 7PM on Sunday, RSVP requested. I received notification, but I'm unsure about posting the rsvp number since it is a private line. You can check the presenter's website and outline here.

Still trying to catch up with past emails.

I've examined his resume closely (both his resumes) and maybe I'm missing something, but I am unclear what this individual does and what the purpose of his Sunday program is. I must be missing some essential fact here.

Oh, EP, be honest! You don't think you're missing an essential fact. If you don't think the program is worthwhile, just say so.

I am honest. I can't figure out whether the program is worthwhile since I don't know what the subject of the program is. The subject is never mentioned, just the presenter's professional resume. I appreciate your honesty, but you have misjudged me harshly. If anyone can figure out the subject of the program, please let us all knowl

EP: It seems pretty clear to me from his website and the link in it to his outline presentation that he talks about how to use sites like Linked In and social network media to further your career and network for clients and business opportunities. Whether or not he has anything unique or valuable to say is a different issue.

I see. Thanks for the explanation. I didn't know what LinkedIn meant in the context of the phrase "workshop".

Hi. Chaim Shapiro here. I am a HUGE Orthonomics fan (I'll give the blog owner my blogging name off list is she likes)! Here is a link to my Networking Workshops. I am giving the first workshop about LinkedIn at YIWH.

Here is a link to a Webcast of the LinkedIn Workshop I gave at the OU (Note there have been some minor changes in LinkedIn since I gave that Workshop)
